Outside of a 4 v 4 enviroment I think that [skill]Primal Rage[/skill] really shines. Sure you lose a little damage on your spike but the additional utility that the skill provides is definately worth it in my humble opinion. Kiting becomes much less of an issue and you effectively gain auto crits (at 133% normal attack rate of course) on anyone who kites you. [skill]Bulls strike[/skill] is easier to land, although it can be a little easier to fake out for good players as canceling the skill now takes better reflexes than before; the KD however isnt AS important if someones ability to kite you is so severely gimped. Target swapping also seems to be a lot less energy and adrenaline intensive if that makes sense. No more rush then frenzy.

Wrong, without +ims a kiter negates 100% of your damage

This sentence logically makes no sense. I guess monks shouldn't cancel Word or RC because they are elite.

I'm going to have to ask, what is 'real' PvP? It certainly isn't GvG where this would shine.

Frenzy -> rush -> frenzy (to catch a target, not avoid damage) costs 10 energy

Primal Rage -> ?(profit) costs only 5

This will be done 10-15 or more times over a GvG match, that is a savings of 50 75 energy on a warrior. This is not even considering the extra crits on a kiting target. For an evis template you lose 29 damage on the spike for gains in most every other area. If lethal spikes can still be made with primal, then it is indeed supperior to eviscerate on that template.

Primal Rage is one of the most awesome skills ever, because just like Frenzy it really has no drawback when used right (except the "elite slot" which it is more than worth.). It's like Rampage as One/Onslaught but better.

ac1inferno, the only times you should have to cancel this is if you get linebacked really. Warriors get attacked first (anywhere that isn't RA/AB/CM) very rarely.

In TA "balanced" you'll have a hammer sitting on you 75% of the time, but even then you'd probably outrun him more often with that skill used carefully.

PR shines in 4vs4 too...at least as long as u dont run into dual palm strike faggotry and ur ranger doesnt interrupt the palm strikes (taking into account there is a ranger in ur team with a bow and d shot/magebane, that is).

Primal range is pretty badass. It's so energy efficient that I don't understand why people don't take a zealous weapon and replace body blow/executioner's with power attack and go wild. Seriously, you can do it, zealous is pretty big energy when you have constant 33% IAS + IMS.

Almost all the damage of WE with all the utility of shock axe. What's not to like?

The most underrated aspect of charge was always that it allowed both warriors to frenzy while moving faster than base speed, which is wicked for outputting pressure. I can't see how this skill can disappoint anyone.

They could or maybe they couldn't have. Who are you to say? You can't look and see if they won in alternative realities, can you? What does matter though, is that they did win and that they did run Primal Rage.

Also, stop comparing PRage to frenzy + rush. It's more of a frenzy+sprint with 33%... and if you ever used Rush, you know that you can't use it when you don't have adrenaline, and when you have it, using it to catch up to a target is quite costly. Extra mobility and extra damage on kiting opponents IMHO is very worth it. But it really depends on your style of play more, there's no one elite or one bar that everyone should run anymore. Alternatives are there and they're all good.

You wouldn't use it, we know it already. But trying to convince everyone that it's bad... a little foolish, isn't it?

PR increases adrenaline gain/conservation by a massive amount, the only reason to cancel it in a PR + Rush situation is if you begin to take damage, whereas in a Frenzy + Rush situation you must cancel if you begin to take damage AND if your target kites away effectively. The advantage of not having to activate (and invest your adren in) Rush effectively means that rather than pursuing an enemy with +25% IMS and little adren for attacks you pursue with +33% IMS, +33% IAS and lots of adren left over to dismember your target to death.

Whilst it first appears that PR will produce little more pressure than Frenzy it actually produces a huuuuge amount more.
